While we were checking in, a small cry echoed down the halls and Kesh looked at me with a smile I understood.
'That's a little baby,' is all she said.

ReplyDeletei'll also say that more often than not, the four of us leave the house in matching outfits. often we're all in stripes. usually we don't notice until we're walking down the street together.
Your baby will look cute in a cosy tee over white singlet. i'm sure of it.
oh Lord. i'm a little embarrassed to say i cried, and i'm blaming it mostly on this cold of mine but also on the fact that this is so beautiful. so to the point, simple, and precious. i agree with hannah. my heart flutters.
