LOOKING BACK

Today, I found myself trawling old hard drives. I'm preparing for my upcoming workshop with Jodi and I really feel like it's my journey that people will benefit most from hearing about.

I found these images of Kesh, all taken on gear that was cheap and simple. I didn't know entirely what I was doing, technically, but that's not important. I was documenting our lives, our adventure. To me, this is honest and that's all I ever want my photography to be.

  1. Stunning! Just goes to show it is not always about the camera. It is all about the moment. Such a great reminder for me to just stop and take shots of my kids and not get all tied up in knots about how 'technical' the shot is.

Might I just say Tim, you may not have known entirely what you were doing at the time but my Holy carrot stick you sure did know what you were doing even if you didn't realise it. You really do have a gift and I am so blessed that you share it with us all in this little blog.

    Good Luck with the workshop.

  18. Hi Tim, these are stunning photos. Are they taken with a film camera? Did you shoot a lot of film back in those days. Reason why I ask is that I shoot a lot on film...
