I'd spent the morning with Leonie and Chris. I'd been with them and their most precious friends and family, while they readied themselves for the most sacred day of their lives. I'd seen the bonds they had here. The relationships they'd nurtured with the people around them.
It's this that Chris didn't want to think about. We were driving down a street they knew better than me, en route to take photos.
You see, after that night, after the speeches and a shared meal, after the last hugs and kisses, Leonie and Chris wouldn't see most of the people who filled their lives and that room for a long time. They were moving to New York to build something special. For them and for others.
Every image is beautiful and unique.

ReplyDeleteso surreal. The picture where thay are sitting on the nech is on my street. The park with the amazing sydney view is where i go running the courtyard where they got married used to be this dodgy alley way until they built the art school there 2 years ago - and the little anglican church 20metres away from where they got married (not in the pictures) is my church. Looks like a lovely unique wedding. *s*
