I love doing these workshops. Mainly because I remember what it was like to be a proper amateur, a true beginner and completely confused when it came to aperture, shutter speeds, light meters, ISO, what lens to buy, which camera to use, how to edit...
I have joked with my attendees that if they saw my images on the first day I decided to shoot on manual, they wouldn't believe they were mine. They really were that bad. But when I see the images our attendees produce, I feel like this is something that is really worthwhile.
If you want to attend one of my workshops before the year is over, the only place with availability is Hobart on Oct 27. Just shoot me an email and we can book you in.
I just wanted to send a massive shout out to our hostess with the most-ess (that sounds better when you say it out loud). Kirsty is one of the most generous and kind people I have ever met and I'm so grateful that she is part of our lives. Nothing, I mean nothing, was too much for her. In fact, her generosity was almost too much for me! Kirsty - thank you so much for everything you did to make these workshops happen.
My little sister, Rach, came and modelled for all three session. Thanks, sis!
I too am very lucky to have Kirst in my life, she is a cracker of a person and friend.
ReplyDeleteIn actual fact, she was the one who led me to you!
