Poolside

It's always the way. When we first got here I was hating on Kata. I felt like it was a melting pot for Russians and Thailand putting on a front. On our last night here, I like the place. We've got our regular spots for superrr cheap massages and have the restaurants sussed.

I won't miss the seedy aspect, or the 'Suit, suit...do you want a suit? Buddy, hey buddy. Suit.' But there are some things I'll miss.

Our hotel is one of them. The Sugar Palm Grand Hillside is pretty mental. Cheap and chic. Not overdone but well done. Today Kesh and I spent the day at the upper pools. The rooms up the top of the mountain don't appear to be booked. We thought the private pools up there should have some bodies in them...
