In my family, we have six kids. Kesh is the same. I'm wedged between older and younger sets of twin sisters.
Before this was my living, I used to take my camera everywhere. Seriously though - if we went to buy a pie for lunch, my camera bag was coming. Birthdays, dinners, sleepovers. My family have come to know that I will always be there with a camera.
Family is where my photography started.
gorgeous (as always) love the one of the little guy squatting down (black and white) - and the shot with the bright blue eyes. What a lovely family (hmmm all that food making me hungry) great shot of the oven full
ReplyDeletei love everything about this. I could have looked at more and more and more.
ReplyDeletegah! this is just gorgeous! love every one.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Gosh - they really are fantastic. I'm so happy to hear there is someone else who takes their camera EVERYWHERE. People are just so used to me now though - they expect me to have it! I can't wait have you photograph our family next year :)
ReplyDeleteWow, this is some lovely work mate. Some excellent story telling happening here!
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous. I'm the oldest of seven, so I know how the whole big family thing works. Everyone asks me if I like it, and I think that's the silliest question. Of course I do. They're my siblings -- my family -- my friends.
ReplyDeleteLife without them would be lonely and incomplete. I feel blessed to have so many siblings, y'know?
again, and again, your work is beautiful in itself, and as a reflection of the lives and loves you document.
ReplyDeleteso happy to have discovered your photography. i adore all of the perspectives you managed to include in this series. thank you for sharing your art.
You captured everything I love most about families getting together. Kids. Food. A good meal. Nothing pleases me more when I get to do all that with my own. Beautiful Tim!
ReplyDeleteThe Abels are some of my favourite people in the whole wide world. I'm so glad you were able to save these moments for posterity!
