I woke with Kesh a couple of hours later. She fed Roo in bed, and together, we prepared for church. We sang in the choir. Kesh at alto and me with the basses. And while I sat in class with Roo, Kesh taught the little ones in a choir of their own.
Our Easter has been quiet, and I'm so thankful for that. More than that, I'm thankful for Easter and who it's about.
Yesterday, for no real reason at all, we drove out to Cataract Dam. It's super important for me to explore. I don't know why but from the time I got my licence, I have constantly driven down roads I've never been before - for no real purpose other than to see where it goes.
I'm not sure what this says about my personality but I'm so happy that Kesh and Roo are explorers. Even if Kesh was too scared to walk the whole way across, or stand anywhere near the edge. Thing is, she's always next to me. She wants to see where the road goes, too.
