We left our home, which won't be our home for more than three days after we fly home. It's been sold to another family so we can move a little closer to airports and the majority of my clients. Whether or not we have a place to call our own is something we haven't figured out yet.
Over the seas, I watched as Roo slept in his bassinet. The boy who flies. Roo goes everywhere we do. And we go places - a lot of them. This world is something we want to see.
It's cold here in Utah and that suits us fine. There's something in fresh (frozen) mountain air that hits you deep in your lungs. With forced assurance, it makes you feel alive.
Kesh loves snow so much she squeals and smiles and makes you get butterflies because you remember what it's like to be a kid. She's awesome like that. She loves and lives big and is the most sensitive person I know; sensitive to people and nature and things that matter most.
Today, my little family drove down the interstate. Somehow those powers of nature we love so much had combined to turn the freeway into the biggest ice rink the world has seen. We passed accident after accident and decided to call our road trip off. We can drive to that place tomorrow.
We pulled into Salt Lake City and skated around a place with more history than I could ever properly comprehend. My good friend, Clark, cut my hair in the coolest barber shop I've ever been into. Mainly though, we pushed Roo around and watched him take in this new world. He loves everything he sees and smiles everywhere we go.
I'll be blogging a little more often than I have been and you won't be seeing any weddings for a little while. Just my little family in new places. Hope that's ok.

Kesh is kindly dressed, head to toe, by our friends at American Apparel.
