Bush Whanau

Today, I spoke to Ant. We both realised something; we were happy. Genuinely.

Yesterday was strangely beautiful and left us with golden feelings inside. The Bush Whanau celebrated Gene’s birthday in a way that brought them closer together. Some of them might not even realise it…but Kesh and I certainly did.

During my conversation with Ant, I told him something I overheard yesterday. Tey was speaking out loud, while looking through some of the photos and said 'Hey, our house looks cool'. Ant said it better than me, 'The house was already cool, Tey just hadn't seen it'.
