‘How beautiful are the colours today.'
It was a statement, not a question.
I’d been married for more than a few months when Kesh said this. We were driving up ‘Bulls Hill’, which takes you out of the Central Coast. I remember being confused.
‘The way the sun is changing the colour of everything’.
It might surprise you to know that I had never consciously taken into consideration the way colours change around us every day (I hadn’t really started taking photos). Not until that day in the car with Kesh.
That’s one of the things I love about her. She sees thing differently. Even colour.
Even when I take photos that are black and white, I can still see it.
Was that last line too cheesy? I don’t care…
